Direct Flights from Miami to Europe early 2024

Shout out to Jamie Y for sharing availability on Air France. From January through March of  2024, there is a plethora of low fares in all classes including Premium Economy and Business class. Both routes from Miami to Paris and Madrid are direct and available between January and March of 2024 for as low as 33k in business!

The flights from Miami to Paris are direct flying on Air France. Most of the fares are cheaper to book through Virgin Atlantic, but there is a single route that was cheaper to book through Flying Blue (Air France) due to taxes. Virgin Atlantic and Flying Blue are both transfer partners of most including AMEX, Chase, Citi, and Capital One. Below are the routes, class, price per person one way, and best way to book.

• MIA-CDG in PE= 30,000 + $151 (booked through Air France/ Flying Blue)
• CDG-MIA in PE= 26,500 + $250 (booked through Virgin Atlantic)
• MIA-CDG in Business= 48,500 + $282 (booked through Virgin Atlantic)
• CDG-MIA in Business= 48,500 + $440 (booked through Virgin Atlantic)

The flights from Miami to Madrid are also direct flying on Iberia and booking through Iberia. Iberia is a transfer partner of Chase and AMEX. AMEX also has a 30% transfer bonus to Iberia through Aug 31, 2023. If you have had an Iberia account open for at least 90 days, you may link your Iberia account to your British Airways account and move points between the two. This is only beneficial if you prefer to use other points first like Citi or Capital One as it allows you to transfer points to British Airways, and then from British Airways to Iberia. Otherwise, you may be able to find some of the PE tickets on British Airways for a similar fare. Below are the routes and price per person one way:

• MIA to/from MAD in PE= 31,750 + $100-150 (or 25,000 with AMEX transfer bonus)
• MIA to/from MAD in Business = 42,500 + $130-170 (or 33,000 with AMEX transfer bonus)
