Our Take

The United personal card is currently offering a tiered bonus of up to 65,000 total miles. You get 40,000 bonus miles after $2,000 spend in 3 months and an additional 25,000 bonus miles after $10,000 spend in the first 6 months.

To put things in perspective, you can fly round trip to Europe on a Saver Level ticket for 60,000 United miles so this one card would be enough to earn you a free international flight. Though this claim will be changing soon with the recent changes to United’s award chart.

You can also transfer points from Chase Ultimate Rewards to United to top off your account if needed.

The 2 United Club passes are also a nice perk for anyone who doesn’t have a card that offers lounge access. Once you try the lounge life there really is no going back.
