Hey Travel Junkies,
Great news today, particularly for those of you who are currently working toward that coveted Southwest Companion Pass.
The Southwest personal credit cards are now all offering signup bonuses of 75,000 points!
The 75,000 bonus points are tiered, you earn 40,000 after $1,000 spend in the first 3 months and an additional 35,000 after $5,000 total spend in the first 6 months. This offer is the exact same across all 3 versions of the personal Southwest cards.
Keep in mind that Chase will only allow you to open one of these cards if you 1) don’t currently have a Southwest personal card open and 2) have not received a bonus on a Southwest personal card in the last 24 months. You also need to be under 5/24.
The Southwest business card offers remain unchanged, though both are currently offering substantial bonuses as well.
The timing couldn’t be better on these offers for many people who are looking to earn a Southwest Companion Pass. And thankfully these offers are scheduled to be around for at least another month.
I think its safe to say that 2020 is off to a good start in the points & miles world!
