Jonas Cartano

Jonas is a leadership coach, consultant, and trainer in the arts, culture, and nonprofit sectors and based in New York City. He’s a self-described cheapskate … because he works with nonprofits and lives in NYC. He serves as a moderator for 10xTravel Insiders Facebook group.

A casual points and miles traveler for years, Jonas got organized to travel a lot more when things reopened post-pandemic. Since then, he’s traveled cross-country on Amtrak, rambled around Alaska, traveled to Machu Picchu to see it in the pouring rain, and visited Europe multiple times. He often travels solo and loves visiting cities with a packed itinerary learning about history and culture, especially through their visual and performing arts, and also loves a good hike in the mountains. He is proud to have visited all 50 states.

Jonas loves the puzzle of figuring out how systems work and how to maneuver within that, so the points and miles hobby is a good fit. An educator by training and temperament, he likes to share what he’s learned and help people become independent-thinking points and miles hobbyists themselves.
