Rachel Grabel

Travel has been a passion of Rachel’s since her first trip to Spain when she was 17. After graduating with an American Studies degree from UC Santa Cruz, Rachel spent the majority of her 20s backpacking around the world. She then became a teacher and continued to fit in big trips every summer. She has been lucky enough to visit over 65 countries on a limited budget, and now with mainly points and miles.

Rachel became very invested in points and miles around 5 years ago, and she has taken some amazing trips since. Rachel says she wishes she had known about points and miles during her backpacking days, as she never imagined she would now be flying business class on international trips. She loves to read articles and stay up-to-date on all the news in this sector. Rachel runs award searches daily and loves helping people find amazing flights for their trips.

These days, Rachel prefers to absorb culture while traveling through walking, eating, drinking and interacting with locals. She loves to hike and scuba, and I will never pass up fresh seafood! Rachel’s most recent trips include Portugal, Spain, Greece, Georgia and the UAE.
