The rewards structure caters to business operations with double miles on Delta purchases, restaurant spending, and—notably for businesses—U.S. shipping providers and advertising in select media (capped at $50,000 annually per category), while all other purchases earn 1 mile per dollar.

While this card delivers solid value for Delta-focused business travelers, it does not compete with the versatility of American Express Membership Rewards-earning business cards that offer transferable points. However, for business owners specifically committed to Delta who prefer a lower annual fee than other Delta business card options, it offers a practical compromise with its travel benefits, business-oriented bonus categories, and travel protections including no foreign transaction fees, baggage insurance, and rental car coverage.
