Transfer your Wells Fargo Rewards points to one of their participating transfer partners
Our Take
The Wells Fargo Autograph℠ Card launched in 2022, and although it had good earning rates on categories like restaurants and gas (3X points), these points were essentially issued as cash back. The new feature of being able to transfer points to travel partners puts this card higher up on our radar than it was previously.
On April 4, 2024 Wells Fargo launched its points transfer program for its Autograph cards, the Wells Fargo Autograph℠ Card and the Wells Fargo Autograph Journey℠ Visa® Card. When you earn points with these cards, you can transfer them to hotel and airline partners. Although their selection of partners is smaller than other transferrable points programs, Wells Fargo is expected to add more partners throughout the coming years.
Right now, you can transfer points to Choice Privileges, Air France‑KLM Flying Blue, Avianca Lifemiles, British Airways Executive Club, AerClub and Iberia Plus.
This no-annual-fee card has a solid earning rate for categories like gas, restaurants, streaming services, phone plans, and more. The newer card in the Autograph family, the Wells Fargo Autograph Journey℠ Visa® Card, might be a better option for many people, but this one may be a good choice for others.
