Rove has added Copa Airlines ConnectMiles to its growing list of airline transfer partners, giving members another option for booking award travel across Latin America, the Caribbean and the broader Star Alliance network. Rove Miles transfer to ConnectMiles at a standard 1:1 ratio. To launch the partnership, Rove is offering a 40% transfer bonus through September 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST, meaning every 1,000 Rove Miles transferred will become 1,400 ConnectMiles.
The addition is particularly useful for travelers targeting Central and South America. Copa Airlines serves more than 80 destinations across the Americas and Caribbean, primarily through its Panama City hub. ConnectMiles can also be redeemed for eligible flights with Star Alliance carriers, including United Airlines, Air Canada, Avianca, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, TAP Air Portugal, Singapore Airlines and ANA. That gives Rove members opportunities to use ConnectMiles well beyond Copa’s own route network.
Our Take
A 40% transfer bonus immediately makes this partnership worth examining, especially for travelers who already have a specific Copa or Star Alliance redemption in mind. Instead of transferring 70,000 Rove Miles for 70,000 ConnectMiles, for example, the promotion would generate 98,000 ConnectMiles. That’s a meaningful reduction in the number of Rove Miles required to fund an award. As always, confirm award availability and calculate the total mileage and cash cost before transferring, since loyalty-program transfers generally shouldn’t be made speculatively.
More broadly, ConnectMiles strengthens Rove’s appeal as a flexible rewards currency. Copa’s extensive Latin American network fills a useful niche for travelers trying to reach destinations that aren’t always convenient through other airline programs, while Star Alliance access expands the potential use cases considerably. If you have a Copa or partner award you can book now, the 40% bonus could offer strong value. If you don’t have a redemption planned, keeping your miles with Rove preserves flexibility for another transfer partner or future promotion.
