3 words: Vegas. Is. Happening.

Papers are signed, champagne is ordered, and we are finally ready to share the details with all of you.

Let’s get to it.

We are throwing the 2018 10xT Las Vegas Reader Meetup on Saturday October 6th in a Penthouse Suite at the Venetian Las Vegas.

This is our second go-around with a Penthouse Party in Las Vegas and the first one was a dandy to say the least.

Truth be told, we weren’t sure what to expect when we announced the inaugural event last year.

I put together a series of promotional emails, scheduled tweets, and even texted friends to try to drum up interest. Hoping that we might be able to fill the place before the big day came.

Then stared at my computer screen in shock when tickets sold out in < 3 minutes and more than 200 people signed up for the wait list. The demand was so great that it crashed our website.

The 2017 event was a huge success, but we are determined to make it even better this year.

This year the 10xT Las Vegas Reader Meetup will feature multiple events over the course of the weekend. Some of which will require advanced tickets, others will be open to anyone.

Here’s the tentative schedule:

Friday, October 5th – 7pm-9pm

10xT Happy Hour @ The Dorsey (Venetian Las Vegas)

Open to All

Come join us at The Dorsey (lobby of the Venetian Las Vegas) for a happy hour, open to any and all 10xT Readers. 10xT will be covering limited drinks for everyone in attendance. Details and register here.

Friday, October 5th – 10pm – Sunrise

10xT Goes Clubbing at Tao Night Club

Tickets Required

10xT has reserved private tables at Tao Night Club (in the Venetian) for 20 people to attend from 10pm till closing (basically sunrise). Tickets on sale here on June 29 at 2pm EST on a first come, first served basis and will be $100 per person.

Saturday, October 6th – Early Afternoon (Time TBD)

10xT Staff Office Hours

Open to all Vegas Reader Party Ticket Holders

Bring your points/miles questions to get individual help from Bryce, Spencer, and other members of the 10xT Staff! Or just come hang out with other 10xT Readers to mingle while talking all things points and miles. This event is open to anyone with a ticket to the 10xT Las Vegas Reader Meetup. More details will be shared when available with meetup ticket holders.

Saturday, October 6th: 7pm-11pm

10xT Las Vegas Reader Party (Penthouse Suite, Venetian Las Vegas)

The big blowout! Come join ~60 other 10xT Readers in the Penthouse Suite of the Venetian Las Vegas for cocktails, giveaways, and socializing with other points/miles addicts just like you. Tickets are very limited. More details below.

Ticket Sale Dates & Pricing

After soliciting feedback from the 10xTravel Insider’s Facebook Group we have decided that tickets to the Saturday night 10x Reader Party will be distributed as follows:

General Sale – Friday, June 15th at 2pm EST

30 tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis beginning on Friday, June 15th at 2pm EST. Tickets can be purchased on the Eventbrite event page (so our site doesn’t crash again). There is a maximum of 2 tickets per order and 1 order per person. Tickets are non-transferable.

We expect these tickets to sell out almost immediately, so if you are interested in attending you’ll want to get your tickets the moment they go on sale.

You can also register for the wait list to be notified of any cancellations. This too will be first come, first served.

Ticket Lottery – Register by Friday, June 22nd at 2pm EST.

30 additional tickets will be distributed via a lottery, with each person having an equal chance of winning. To enter, add your info to this google form by Friday, June 22 at 2pm EST. Maximum of one entry and 2 tickets per person. We will review the list manually for duplicates and remove them from consideration (and might add said duplicate emails to Craigslist ads for free puppies)

Winners will be selected at random and notified on June 22nd.

Ticket Prices and Info

10xT Reader Party – $100 ($50 refunded to all who attend)

Tickets to the 10xT Saturday night Reader Party will be sold for $100, with $50 of that being a deposit that will be refunded to all who attend the party (our way of cutting down on no-shows).

In full disclosure, it costs a lot more than $50 per person to throw a private party in a Penthouse Suite in Vegas. We are not trying to profit on this, but rather ensure that we can create an exciting event without having to cut corners.

This ticket price also gives ticket holders access to the 10xT Office Hours on Saturday morning.

10xT Club Night at Tao – $100

20 tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis for the 10xT Club Night at Tao Nightclub in the Venetian Las Vegas. Limit 2 tickets per person and these tickets can be purchased by anyone.

Trip Giveaways

10xT will be giving away two all-expenses paid trips to Vegas to attend the 10xT Vegas Reader Party and other weekend events.

Trips to include airfare, hotel stay, limo transportation, and more.

Hotel Reservations

10xT has reserved a block of rooms at the Venetian Las Vegas at a discounted rate. To book, simply email Bryce@10xtravel.com with your travel dates and number of rooms requested.
