Hyatt has announced a strategic partnership with Grupo Piñero through a 50/50 joint venture that is set to expand its all-inclusive room portfolio by an estimated 30%. Travelers can anticipate access to 23 resorts that include the well-regarded Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts across popular destinations such as the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica, and Spain.
This venture will operate from its headquarters in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, overseeing the management of Bahia Principe-branded hotels and resorts while holding ownership of the brand. Upon closing the deal, which is expected in the upcoming months, Julió Pérez will be appointed as the CEO of this new management company.
Hyatt’s integration of Bahia Principe’s resorts into its Inclusive Collection marks a significant enhancement of its all-inclusive offering, positioning it as a leader with one of the largest collections globally.

Our Take
It’s clear that Hyatt is making moves to strengthen its foothold in the all-inclusive market and it looks to be separating itself as a leading brand for affordable all-inclusive vacations that can be booked with points.
For frequent travelers and those specifically interested in maximizing points and miles, this expansion can translate into more diverse options and potentially greater value for your rewards. The introduction of Bahia Principe resorts to the Hyatt Inclusive Collection allows World of Hyatt members to experience a wider range of locations and resort styles, which can significantly enhance your Hyatt redemption opportunities.
