Make Your Trip Request:

Start by requesting a trip to the destination you want to visit.

Once submitted, you will be matched with your local expert.

Craft Your Trip:

Set a meeting with your expert. This is where you’ll discuss ideas and inspiration.

Next, your expert will craft your itinerary. A personalized trip proposal requires a $100 crafting fee.

Your expert will craft the trip around your travel dates, pricing, and availability.

You and your expert will discuss your options and alternatives until your itinerary is perfected.

Book your trip:

Book by submitting your trip deposit, which is typically 20-40%. This will lock in all your reservations.

Final payment is due 1-2 months before departure.

Take-off:

Prior to departure, you’ll receive local tips and tricks – the secret sauce that makes your trip special.

Your local expert will be there for you throughout, with 24/7 support.

We recommend these tips to make the process go faster and smoother: Start with a video call so your expert can get to know you and understand your interests. Be upfront about what you’re looking for. Provide your expert with as much information as you can about your travel style, things you like to do and things you don’t care to see/do.

The Trip Planning Service doesn’t include the flight, but includes lodging and activities. You can book your flight using any method you prefer, such as airline websites, travel portals, or through the 10xTravel Award Booking Service.

No, but it’s highly encouraged to get a trip insurance plan because it’s an easy and affordable way to protect yourself in case you need to cancel or change travel plans or if you need medical assistance when traveling. Get a trip insurance quote.

We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and more.

Any trip cancellation will be subject to the terms of the Local Travel Agency and Travel Suppliers. Please refer to the Local Travel Agency’s Terms and Conditions to familiarize yourself with their refund policies. We will have no liability to you for a Local Travel Agency or Travel Supplier’s failure to provide a refund. Refunds are based only on the “Price of Trip” charge as detailed in your Payment Details. Please remember that Elsewhere’s fee and any fees charged by credit card providers/processors are always nonrefundable.

Passengers on all Elsewhere trips will be required to comply with Elsewhere’s Proof of Vaccine policy, which requires full Covid-19 vaccination with the final dose given at least 14 days prior to the trip start date. Only vaccines the following vaccines will be accepted by Elsewhere: Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca Vaxzevria, or Johnson & Johnson.

If the passenger is unable to be vaccinated due to medical reasons, you may speak to your Local Expert about an exemption. Exemptions will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Children under 12 years old are exempt from providing proof of vaccination and a negative Covid-19 test, though the rules to enter the country may differ. It is at the sole discretion of the passenger to ensure they follow the national guidelines of their visiting country.
