Wells Fargo Rewards just added JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty program as its newest 1:1 transfer partner. This means you can now turn your Wells Fargo points into JetBlue points at equal value. The timing couldn’t be better since JetBlue recently launched its Blue Sky partnership with United Airlines. This partnership lets TrueBlue members use their points for certain United flights. Now, Wells Fargo Rewards members can book flights on both JetBlue and United by transferring their points to TrueBlue.
Transferring points is simple and fast. First, make sure you have a free JetBlue TrueBlue account. Then log into your Wells Fargo Rewards account to link them together. There’s no minimum transfer amount – you can transfer as little as one point if you want. Best of all, transfers happen instantly in most cases, which is great when you find award space you want to book right away.
Our Take
Our team thinks this is a big win for Wells Fargo cardholders who like to travel. The new transfer option opens up some great booking chances like Condor business class from the East Coast to Germany for 54,000 points, Japan Airlines flights to Tokyo starting at 39,000 points in economy, and even some JetBlue flights to Paris for as low as 7,100 points plus $5.60 in taxes.
We’re most excited about the United connection through Blue Sky. This means your Wells Fargo points can now help you book flights on two major U.S. airlines through one program. Just be sure to check if seats are available before you transfer your points, since once you move them to TrueBlue, you can’t transfer them back to Wells Fargo. This flexibility makes Wells Fargo cards much more valuable for anyone collecting points for travel.
