The World of Hyatt Credit Card offers great value for people who stay at Hyatt hotels. For a $95 annual fee, cardholders get a free night each year at Category 1-4 hotels. The card also gives you automatic Discoverist status, which means room upgrades when available, 2 p.m. checkout, and daily bottled water.
This card gives you five elite nights toward status each year just for having the card. You also earn more elite nights when you spend money on the card: two nights for every $5,000 you spend. When using the card, you’ll get 4X bonus points at Hyatt properties and 2X bonus points at restaurants, on airline tickets bought directly from airlines, at gyms, and on local transit.
Plus, you’ll earn this welcome offer if you meet the minimum spending requirements:
The World of Hyatt Credit Card
Earn up to 60,000
Bonus Points
Earn 30,000 Bonus Points after you spend $3,000 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening. Plus, up to 30,000 More Bonus Points by earning 2 Bonus Points total per $1 spent in the first 6 months from account opening on purchases that normally earn 1 Bonus Point, on up to $15,000 spent. Plus, earn 2 total Tier-Qualifying Night Credits per eligible night at any Hyatt hotel or resort completed between October 16, 2025 and January 31, 2026, for up to 15 tier-qualifying nights with this offer. Apply by November 20, 2025.
Annual Fee: $95
With this offer, it would be worth spending $15,000 on the card in the first 6 months because you would:
- Earn the 30,000 bonus points welcome offer
- Earn an extra 30,000 bonus points for 60,000 total Hyatt bonus points
- Earn 6 elite nights (2 nights for every 5k spent)
And with this elevated offer, that would already be 41 elite qualifying nights:
- 30 nights from 15 nights spent with the elevated offer
- 5 nights annually with the card
- 6 nights from $15,000 spent
Our Take
Our team believes this card is worth much more than its $95 annual fee. The free night certificate alone can be used at hotels that would cost over $200 per night. If you spend $15,000 on the card in a year, you get a second free night certificate, making it an even better deal. These free nights can be used at some really nice properties like Andaz hotels or Hyatt Regency locations.
For anyone trying to earn Hyatt elite status, this card gives you a big head start. The five automatic elite nights plus the ability to earn more through spending makes reaching valuable Globalist status much easier. Globalist status offers great benefits like free breakfast, suite upgrades, and late checkout. We’ve found this card to be a must-have for anyone who stays at Hyatt hotels even a few times a year.
