Business Class to Europe in Winter 2027

We’re seeing business class award availability to Helsinki (HEL) on Finnair, with nonstop options from JFK, DFW, LAX, and MIA. Travel is available during January and February 2027, with 2 business class seats open on select dates—an excellent opportunity to lock in winter travel to Northern Europe.

Award pricing comes in at 62,500 points each way, with reasonable taxes and fees of approximately $152 outbound and $180 on the return. All flights are operated by Finnair and can be booked directly through the Finnair Plus program.

Be sure to check our Current Transfer Bonuses, as there is a 20% transfer bonus to select Avios programs through March 31, 2026. With the bonus, you can calculate the effective cost by dividing the redemption amount by 1.2, bringing the 62,500-point business class fare down to about 53,000 points.

While Finnair is only a direct transfer partner of a few banks, you can still move points there by transferring to British Airways Avios first and then using the Combine Avios tool to move them to Finnair. Keep in mind that Avios cannot always be transferred directly between certain programs.
