The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is one of the most well-known cards in the travel space. This card is currently offering an elevated 100,000 mile bonus but it requires a very large $20,000 spend in the first year to get it.
Capital One recently introduced more than a dozen transfer partners, including Air Canada, Air France, Etihad, and Cathay Pacific. Points transfer at a rate of 2 Capital One miles > 1.5 airline miles.
Venture also keeps its original points redemption option of redeeming points to erase any travel purchase at a value of 1 cent per point.
Meaning the 100,000 bonus miles are worth $1,000 in free travel. Airline tickets, hotels, rental cars, Uber, taxis, you name it. Simply pay with your Venture card and use your points to erase the charge later.
Here is what the 10xT Team would do with this bonus.
