The program typically offers good value for long-haul premium cabin redemptions and often provides better access to Air France and KLM award seats compared to partner airline programs.

April 2025 Promo Details
These new Promo Rewards are available for booking between April 1-30, 2025, with travel dates extending through September 30, 2025. Most routes offer a 25% discount off standard award pricing.
For context, standard one-way transatlantic award pricing between Europe and most of North America is usually:
- Economy: 25,000 miles
- Premium Economy: 40,000 miles
- Business Class: 60,000 miles

Europe to/from North America:
- Air France economy to/from New York (JFK): 18,750 miles
- KLM economy to/from Houston (IAH): 18,750 miles
- KLM economy to/from Montreal (YUL): 18,750 miles
Europe to/from Caribbean and South America:
- Air France economy to/from Fort-de-France (FDF): 22,500 miles
- Air France economy to/from Pointe-a-Pitre (PTP): 22,500 miles
- Air France premium economy to/from Cayenne (CAY): 37,500 miles
- KLM premium economy to/from Paramaribo (PBM): 37,500 miles
- Air France business class to/from Bogota (BOG): 63,750 miles
These awards can be used for connections throughout Europe.
How to Earn Flying Blue Miles
Flying Blue miles are relatively easy to accumulate through several methods:
- Transfer from major credit card programs (Amex Membership Rewards, Capital One, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Citi ThankYou, and Bilt Rewards)
- Purchase miles directly from Flying Blue
- Earn through the Flying Blue co-branded credit card
