It’s been another tough week out there for many, so I hope today’s post helps bring some joy and inspiration to all of you while we all distance ourselves from all things social.

Today we have two things on tap for you.

First, I asked my trainer, the great and wonderful Chris Coulson, to share some simple home workout ideas with us so that we can at least attempt to stay in shape without leaving our homes. This pandemic is going to end at some point, and if all goes according to plan that point might just be in the smack middle of swimsuit season.

And second, we are launching the first ever 10xTravel Drawing Contest, complete with prizes for the winners. These prizes may or may not include packages of a common household paper product that was, for at least a very brief period of time, one of the most sought after commodities on earth.

Let’s get to it.

Fitness from Home with Chris Coulson (Bryce’s trainer)

Meet Chris Coulson.

Chris is a professional fitness trainer based out of New York City who works with both virtual and in-person clients.

He has been my virtual trainer for a little over a year now and he has been doing a great job of keeping everybody sane over the past couple weeks by sharing some simple home workout tips and ideas on Instagram (@thechriscoulson).

So I asked him if we could share some of his videos with the 10xT audience and he happily obliged with some help from his girlfriend, Amber. You’ll also see an occasional cameo by his dog, Gamora.

Chris is not compensating us in any way for this, or vice versa. We were the ones that approached him about this post. There is no commercial intent here, only a travel blog sharing home fitness tips and dog cameos with everyone because that is where we are in the world at this moment.

So without further ado, here is week’s worth of workouts to do from the comfort of your home.

10xTravel Drawing Contest

 

We are happy to announce the start of the first ever 10xTravel Drawing Contest!

The prompt is simple, we want you to draw an airplane. You can interpret that prompt however you like. You are also welcome to use any “drawing” medium you please (crayons, colored pencils, paint, etc.) with the exception of any medium that can be digitally enhanced.

All work must be original. Please do not include any personally identifying information in your drawing.

Once you are done, simply snap a picture of your drawing and upload it via this google form along with your name and email address (so we can notify the winners).

One submission per person. Deadline to submit is Monday at 5pm EST.

All submissions will be posted in our Insiders Facebook Group next week where they will be voted on (facebook “likes” = votes) by our readers. The picture with the most likes at the voting deadline wins.

Here are the prizes:

First Prize: $100 Amazon Gift Card + One (1) pack of toilet paper

Second Prize: $50 Amazon Gift Card + One (1) pack of toilet paper

Third Prize: One (1) pack of toilet paper.

As you can see, the stakes are very high for this contest.
