Copa Airlines has been a staple in providing budget award fares to Latin American destinations. Right now, United has many saver awards available flying Copa Airlines to South America- in particular from Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Denver, Austin, Washington D.C., New York City, and Atlanta to Rio de Janeiro.
Rio de Janeiro is home to one of the new seven wonders of the world (Christ the Redeemer) and is known for its annual Carnival scheduled for early February 2024. From January through April 2024, you can find flights for as low as 66k per person one way in business or 33k per person one way in economy.
In addition to the routes provided, you may also find availability for this price from other US eastern airports such as ORD, BOS, YYZ, YUL, TPA, MCO, MIA, and FLL. We’ve seen this price point available from smaller airports as well, so be sure to see if you can get this with a connection from your home airport at no additional cost. You may be able to find flights for a similar price point flying Copa Airlines through United to other South American destinations like EZE, SCL, LIM, BOG, or MDE.
