If you are considering a trip to Abu Dhabi in the Spring next year, flying Etihad First Class is definitely not a bad way to get there.

In March and April 2023, there is a lot of availability between IAD and AUH bookable through Air Canada Aeroplan. Aeroplan is a transfer partner of Chase Ultimate Rewards, Amex Membership Rewards, and Capital One Venture Miles, so there are lots of ways to get the 120,000 miles you’ll need to book this ticket. The taxes are also low when booking through Aeroplan, so you’ll only pay about $38.

Flying to Abu Dhabi is a great gateway to travel through if you are considering continuing on to the Maldives.
