If Dublin is not your final destination, you may be able to replace DUB with another European location. Please note Aer Lingus does not allow you to book mixed fares on the same ticket. This means, if the DUB to your final destination is not available in business it will not show up on the Aer Lingus website. However, you can book mixed tickets through an Aer Lingus partner such as British Airways.
The cost for one person in business from BDL, CLE, MSP, PHL, JFK, EWR, IAD, BOS, ORD to/from DUB is 50,000 per person. If you want to fly beyond DUB the price may be more like 60-70k per person (again best way to book is on partners like British Airways for continuing flights).
Aer Lingus is technically only a transfer partner of Chase. Luckily if you have other currencies like AMEX, Capital One, Citi, or Bilt, you can transfer your points to British Airways/Qatar and then use the combine Avios to move them to Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus saver award flights may also be booked through AA, United, or Alaska.
If you will be using Citi points, this deal just became even sweeter. There is a 30% transfer bonus from Citi to Qatar through May 31, 2024 bringing the price down to 38,500 per person each way.
