Complimentary Gold Status with Hilton
The 130,000 bonus on this card is a slight upgrade over it’s past bonus of 100,000 points. Overall this card is great when compared to other Hilton offers but in the middle of the pack in the world of hotel cards. Remember, these are Hilton points we are talking about so don’t get too excited by the large number. Most consider Hilton points to be worth about 0.5 cents per point.
This card is worth getting if you are well over 5/24 and value Hilton points and Hilton Gold Status. Otherwise consider other options.
I recently was able to use Hilton points to book a 2 night stay at the iconic Hotel del Coronado in San Diego. Which is about as good a use of Hilton points as you will find.
