Saver Awards Direct to Asia in Economy through next Winter 2026

Between June 2026 and January 2027, we found saver awards to South Korea for as low as 23,000 per person, one way in economy. This is flying direct from SFO, SEA, LAS, LAX, DFW, ORD, BOS, IAD, JFK to Seoul (ICN) booking through Virgin Atlantic and flying Korean Airlines or Delta.

If Seoul is not your final destination in Asia, it would provide a central location for you to reposition affordably and efficiently. For example, Seoul is a two hour flight from Tokyo for anyone interested in Japan.

While you can transfer directly from Chase, AMEX, Chase, Citi, Bilt and Wells Fargo to Virgin Atlantic, Capital One is actually only partners with Virgin Red (not Virgin Atlantic). This is no problem as you can link your Virgin Red account to your Virgin Atlantic account, and then you will be able to book your flights on Virgin Atlantic using your Capital One points as usual.

Virgin Atlantic is known to hold award fares, so you are welcome to call Virgin Atlantic to hold the fare prior to transferring points. All of the dates below have confirmed availability for at least 2 passengers. Expect to pay $30 per person each way in taxes.
