Our Take
Chase Freedom Unlimited has moved up in our monthly rankings thanks to a handful of new spending category changes made by Chase.
Freedom Unlimited now earns 5% back on travel booked through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal, 3% back on dining, and 3% back on drugstores. There is no need to register and these category changes appear to be indefinite.
Keep in mind that if you also have a Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Sapphire Reserve, or Chase Ink Business Preferred you can combine all of your Chase points to be used for travel redemptions, including transfers to travel partners.
