If you’re reading this, it’s likely you may already have a Chase card. And it’s no wonder—Chase has some of the most lucrative travel rewards credit cards on the market.

From much-loved all-rounders like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, no-nonsense unlimited cash back cards like the Chase Freedom Unlimited®, premium perk-heavyweights like the Chase Sapphire Reserve® and solid business cards such as the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, Chase has a card for every points and miles enthusiast.

Given this, it’s likely that you may have more than just the one Chase card. With Chase’s 5/24 rule, it often makes sense to prioritize Chase cards before all other cards.

If you have a Chase personal and Chase business card, you may be wondering if it’s possible to combine your accounts. The good news is that you can combine Chase personal and business accounts—and the even better news is that you don’t need to pick up the phone to do so. You can combine your Chase personal and business accounts in a matter of minutes online.

Let’s run through how to combine your Chase personal and business accounts, and the benefits of doing so.

Combine Your Chase Personal and Business Accounts: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Log In

You need to first log into your Chase business account.

Chase only allows you to link personal and business accounts together from your Chase Business account, not your personal account.

Step 2: Profile & Settings

Once you’ve logged in, navigate to the top right hand corner of the page where you’ll find your profile icon. Here you need to select “Profile & settings.”

This will bring up a button on the page where you can click it, saying “Show my accounts.”

Step 4: Link Accounts

You’ll be redirected to a new page where you’ll have an overview of your accounts.

These are divided into “Existing linked relationships” and “Available relationships.” If you haven’t already linked your personal account to your business account, then you should be able to find it in the “Available relationships” section.

You can then click “Link relationship” next to the personal account you wish to link your business account to. Once you’ve clicked this, you’ll be asked to confirm that you wish to link the account, where you can again click “Link relationship.”

Profile settings

Note that you will likely see two numbers for each card within the business section. For example here you see “Credit Card (...9999)” and “J. Doe (...8888)” but these are both for the same credit card. Chase generates a separate number for each business card that is used internally to manage rewards and other details of your account.

Step 5: Confirmation

Finally, you should receive a pop-up notification telling you that your accounts have been linked successfully.

When to Call Chase

Keep in mind that your accounts need to be in the same name to be linked. In the event that you can’t find your personal account in the “Available relationships” section, you’ll need to call Chase customer support and have them link your accounts manually over the phone. Likewise, in case you need to unlink an account, you’ll need to call Chase directly.
