Chase has rolled out enhanced welcome offers on three of its most popular business credit cards, giving small business owners an opportunity to earn larger bonuses in exchange for higher spending requirements. The new offers are available on the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card, Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card, and Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ credit card.

The Ink Business Cash® Credit Card and the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card now offer $1,000 cash back after spending $8,000 on purchases within the first four months of account opening. Previously, cardholders could earn $750 after spending $6,000 in the first three months. Both cards continue to carry no annual fee, making them attractive options for business owners looking to maximize rewards while keeping costs low.

For businesses with significant spending in specific categories, the Ink Business Cash is a strong option. The card earns 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent each account anniversary year at office supply stores and on internet, cable, and phone services. Meanwhile, the Ink Business Unlimited continues to stand out as a simple catch-all card, earning 1.5% cash back on every purchase with no category tracking required.

The biggest headline may be the new Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ offer. New applicants can earn 200,000 bonus points after spending $30,000 in the first six months from account opening, up from the previous offer of 150,000 points after $20,000 in spending within three months. While the required spend increases by $10,000, the additional 50,000 points and six-month qualification period should make the offer more attainable for many business owners.

Our Take

We view these elevated offers as a strong opportunity for businesses that can comfortably meet the spending requirements without altering their normal purchasing behavior. The Ink Business Cash and Ink Business Unlimited remain excellent long-term cards because of their $0 annual fees and valuable earning structures, while the Sapphire Reserve for Business is positioned as Chase’s premium business travel card, offering enhanced earning rates, airport lounge access, travel credits, and other premium benefits.
